Support through the working life

Maintenance, repairs
and the decisions between.

The right conversation depends on what the truck is doing, how it is used and what has changed. Share the details so SIF can discuss an appropriate service or repair plan.

01 / PLANNED MAINTENANCE

Stay ahead of service due dates.

Maintenance and inspections can identify defects and repair requirements. Tell us how your truck is used so the service discussion fits the machine.

  • Current hours and previous service date
  • Working environment and duty cycle
  • Recurring faults or changes in operation
02 / REPAIRS & DIAGNOSTICS

Explain the fault, not just the model.

Share what happened, when it occurs and any displayed fault code. SIF also offers workshop repairs, overhauls and rebuilds.

  • Continuous or intermittent symptoms
  • Relevant repair history
  • Site location and access arrangements
03 / ONGOING CARE

Plan servicing across your fleet.

Ask about service contracts, maintenance records and service-due reminders. Review the agreed scope and frequency with the team.

  • Which machines need to be covered
  • What the service scope includes
  • How extra repair work is agreed

A useful starting point

Give the team the details.
Agree the next step.

A clear enquiry helps explain the job before arrangements are made. You do not need every machine detail to start a conversation.

Identify the machine

Make, model, serial number and operating hours, if available.

Describe the request

Service due, fault symptoms or fleet planning. Add your location and preferred timing.

Discuss the arrangements

Confirm the scope, location and timing with SIF. An enquiry is not a confirmed booking.

For a breakdown enquiry, phone 0800 743 675. Describe the issue and where the forklift is located.

Request forklift service

Required fields are marked *. Other machine details are helpful if available.

Share a preferred date or timeframe. Arrangements and timing need confirmation.

What needs attention? Include fault codes or symptoms if relevant.

This starts an enquiry, not a confirmed booking. To send photos, email info@siforklifts.co.nz with the same name and machine details. This form does not accept attachments.

Fleet management

Review the fleet, not just the repair bill.

Compare operating hours, maintenance history and the job each truck performs. A review can put under-used equipment, recurring repairs and changing workloads in the same discussion, helping you consider maintenance and replacement priorities.

Discuss your fleet →

Bring the whole picture.

  • Truck list and locations
  • Hours and usage
  • Maintenance and repair history
  • Workload changes and future needs

Monitoring where it fits.

SIF offers Smartrack monitoring as part of its fleet management service. Ask whether it suits your trucks and what equipment, reporting and setup are required. Monitoring can add usage information to the review; the arrangement should be agreed for your fleet.

Use the findings to discuss maintenance, recurring repairs and replacement priorities with the team.

Before you enquire

Practical questions.
Clear next steps.

Can I ask about a part without booking a service?

Yes—use the parts enquiry page. SIF handles Hangcha spare parts and aftermarket parts enquiries. Supply the model, serial number and part reference where available.

What should I include for a fleet review?

List the trucks, their usage and operating hours, maintenance history and recurring costs. Explain any workload changes or replacement decisions you are considering.

Does this form confirm a service booking?

No. It starts an enquiry. The team needs to discuss the work, location and suitable timing before arrangements are confirmed.

How often does my truck need servicing?

Follow the requirements for the exact machine. Share the model, hours, environment and service history to discuss the appropriate schedule.

Do you offer help at my site?

Give SIF your location, access information and fault details. Local mobile breakdown assistance is available, with suitable arrangements and attendance confirmed by the team.

Can I request a replacement forklift?

Share capacity, lift-height and site requirements. A suitable machine, availability and hire arrangements need confirmation.

What if the truck has stopped?

Call 0800 743 675 with the issue and location. Discuss attendance directly; an online form does not confirm a response time.

Need a part rather than a service?

Have your machine identification and part reference ready.
